i was wondering how much nitrous do you think i would need to go from 11.00 to 10.00 in the 1/4 at 3600 lbs.motor now dyno's 493hp and 483tq and ran a best of 10.96 at 123.

Wow, im guessing a 150 shot would get you close. normally 100 would do the job but big gains get harder and harder the more power you make.

www.DynoTuneNitrous.com check out our wet kits

Cheers

with almost 500 rwhp and 3600 pounds, that car should be low low 10's. we just ran b-mans car, it put down a tad over 500 and was ovr 3600 pounds, and it went 10.4 @ 129 last night, with a 10.3 in it if it wasnt such a slik track.
id say get the suspention dialed in better, see dean for a 100-125 shot, and go high 9's!

I would a 150 shot would get you there if the car can hook the extra power.

its a stock suspension vette and the best 60 is 1.55on a 26 x 11.5 et street.i dynoed it at cartek so i think the numbers are accurate. its an automatic with a 3600 stall conv.so those hp and torque #s may even be a little low.

with almost 500, it should be faster, but a 150 should do it. if it will hook it.

Actually, running your wieght and power numbers through a universal calculator, your pretty much on par. To run consistant 10.0 at 3,600lbs I think your going to have to push 600+ rwhp. I'd say set the car up for a 150 shot and go to town. IF the car hooks on the bottle it should lay down a nice 60.

My car is 3600# and on motor I go 10.6's @ 127 w/ 1.47 60' - because my suspension isn't optimized yet, it takes me a 100 shot (TNT, so 125 for anyone elses kit) to go 10.0's @ 134 w/ 1.47 60'. But this is with some timing pulled on the launch to make it leave decent (hence the same 60'). Once I get some shocks/springs, I can leave harder and it should go 9's easy.

I haven't dynoed the new setup yet, but I'm guessing I'm around 475rwhp on the motor and 600ish on the 100 shot. This guess is based on what my old motor dynoed in the same car and the times it ran.

I would say get it to hook better and a 100 shot should do it easy.

Yes a 150 shot should get you there. If not real close. Traction permitted.
