good numbers and a nice curve on such a small cam.

I'm guessing this is a built 6l, stock cubed?

Whats the comp. ratio? What chamber size on the heads, etc..

they are very strong. We saw on the engine dyno 30 hp over our 5.3 head and an average torque increase of 20 ft lbs. That was with a 224/226 114 578 581 lift custom comp xer. I dont think Andy had a fast intake, there is another 25 hp. good numbers A&A!

That torque is killer. More specs on the motor please! Also that tq peaks pretty early for an LSx motor (but still amazing tq numbers). It's just begging for more cam.

1. More specs on motor. What size chamber and resulting SCR?

2. Full cam specs please

What is needed in terms of valvetrain modifications to run an 11* head?

Did you spec that cam specifically for that setup?

actually, nothing special is needed for the 11 degree valve angle. we reccommend using the stock rocker arms. I believe andy used a 228-114 cam

Wanted to bump this thread...

How "worked" were these 5.3 heads that you compared the 215s to?

How much would you expect to gain on swapping the 215s onto a 224/228 578 588 114 XER Comp Cam currently running LS6 heads?
