Default Recommended 5.7 heads......and a good cam to go with?

So what cylinder heads and cam combo's are out there that are working the best for you guys, and what numbers are they making? I just want to get a good Idea of what combo's are putting out the best numbers and what is working the best for folks

I have port and polished LS1 heads with a medium cam (228/228). This was done before the aftermarket boomed with great cylinder heads. So please help me out.......

If you are going to leave the bottom end stock with displacement AFR 205cc heads would be a great addition. If you are gonna run a stroker than the AFR 225cc would be the heads to get. As far as a cam decide how big you want to go and then search the forum for cams used in relation to the heads. One member got around 487 RWHP running AFR 205cc and the TRak cam. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/395815-afr-205s-thunder-trak-cam-487rwhp-436rwtq.html
