Default aftermarket accessory hookup question..

when you goto hookup a aftermarket accessory, what kind of connectors do you prefer?

wires coming out of the box? a custom connector you have to wire in, so it plugs in? a set of universal connectors on the box so you can use something like spade terminals?

reason i ask, is i have a couple small things ive designed and made.. and i was thinking of making a few more and selling them on ebay...
but there are electrical hookups involved, and i was wondering what kind of connectors i should use...
easiest would be just to solder wires to the board, and have them come out of the box... but i dunno... suggestions?
