Default People with fiberglass SS hood com in!!!

Not sure it they are all fiberglass, but I just got one from a friend and bolted it on, and now when i go around 80-85 the scoop starts to shake!! Was just wondering if this is normal??

Do you mean you got the full real hood? I'm hoping that "got one from a friend and bolted it on" doesn't mean that it's one of those fake scoops that just gets put on the hood. I don't think that's the case though.

As for the scoop shaking: yes, it is normal. I had an SS hood on my other Z and it did that as well, just as it does with all other SS's. The only reason you don't notice it with the Z hoods are because they're metal and are flat, so it's hard to see. But with a lighter hood that sticks higher up, it's more noticable. As long as it's bolted down tightly and secured with the latch in front, all is good to go!

I am almost 100% sure they are all glass,
I have never seen my hood shake,even at 130(Im a puss I let off)

Yeah its a functional hood, cool just wanted to make sure the scoop wasn't gonna fly off or something.

I wouldn't worry. I've ridden/driven in many SS's and all of the hoods vibrate slightly when simply driving around. You just notice it more because the scoop is the only part that sticks up.
