Question partial clutch shifts

is it safe to shift by only pressing the clutch in part way, or should i always be using a full throw of the pedal? I haven't really tried it much at the track in WOT conditions... but on the street with light throttle, i've found that i can shift fast by only pressing in the clutch a very short amount (like 1/3 of the way or less).

Default

This will produce high shift efforts . It will also deal a shortened life to your synchronizers . It is done every day and is loved by transmission rebuild shops and replacement parts vendors.
