Default average life of CC 918s@ .58-ish lift?

Just wondering what the average lifespan is on these and what RPM they begin to float is. Thanks.

That LARGELY depends on the cam used and the ramp rate of it.

ok, cam is a 226/228 .585/.587 114LSA 110inc(i think)..would have to look up my cam card. Gomer knows for sure, it is his custom grind.

If properly installed at geometry, ~15>20K miles

That is also relative to how you drive it.

thats what i thought. they have 25K on them of pretty hard miles and i am missing about 50whp and the power curve flattens at 5K.

I would change them soon. A single spring braking will be a disaster.

It is a 226/228 .585/.588 114lsa 112icl using X-er lobes.

ah..yeah, what he said. i was wayyy off. didnt have the cam card handy. well, i just wanted to know if anyone else had thoughts on that, or had experienced fatigue like that.

should be good..probably the most agressive i cam i would ever run with the 918's. I went with Futral F11 and PP Dual golds..cause they are dirt cheap.

I'd change them asap because you are running a good deal of lift on XE-R lobes. You actually should have changed them earlier imo.

i agree....just one of those things that you dont thing of. I am going to run a comp. check to see if thats also a culprit.
