4L60E Recalibration after Gear Swap?? Does anyone know exactly what programming is needed following a gear swap? I've done a search with mixed messages...
I recently did a 2.73 to 3.42 rearend swap on my 00 Z28 (stock tire height and 4L60E) and am getting an SES light, but not an ABS inop like some others do after a gear swap.
A friend of mine has HPTuners and has helped calibrate my speedo, but from what I've been reading I need further recalibration for the shift points
(up and down shifts), shift firmness, and whatever else is causing the SES light after the swap.
Anybody know?
