Default ZEX LS1 Wet How is it?

I am very interested in the ZEX LS1 wet system, Looks really eazy to install, and that the right nitrous and fuel mix will be always right

Anyone running this? can you tell me how well it works , and if you like it, has there been ant issues , problems in the past with it.

thank you for your help

I had a small problem today at the dyno. Car made 305whp 318wtq on the motor.I asked them to spray on the second pull and nothing happened. We went for it a 3rd time and it engaged but late and kind of in and out.I had just filled the bottle and was told it was air in the line--- so I bought a purge kit while I was there. Bottom line make sure you have a way to clear your lines.Even working soso it made 390whp 417wtq so with the purge installed and a clean shot I will see 400whp wich is all I want.

I sold my Zex kit and bought a NX MAF...very dissappointing performance with the Zex for me. I even bumped the jets up to 150 hp with Zex's help...still unimpressive. I'd go NX.

That was you today neverenough? i know i only saw one rx7 at TR. many ppl say they don't like the Zex because it doesn't seem to make the power the other ones do. as far as safety, i can't say ive heard of ppl blowin up engines with ZEX, but it could be i just didn't hear about it happenin and it does, or it could be that the system just doesn't make enough power. its also purple

The only reason one kit will make more power than another is jetting. Get a wideband or go to a dyno with a wideband and tune your kit to your rotating assembly and fuel systems needs. Factory jetting is a joke.

I'm pretty sure I had the only mazda at the show. The purple bottle is well hidden and I never intended on adding much more than 100 hp or so. It suits my needs very well but for big numbers I think there are better choices. Its quick eassy and safe, perfect entry level kit.

I run the zex on my LS1 rx7 as well... I actually bought the zex to keep me from wanting to go spray instead of boost... but now I've decided that is the route I am taking anyway. lol
