Default how much HP on a M6

I am trying to figure out what i am going to do to my car this winter. I was wondering how long a stock trans w/ a stage 3 clutch will hold on 400 RWHP + 100 shot? also how long do you think a rear will hold on hard launches. If this isnt going to hold how hard is it to convert to A4? how much? The gear is a stock 3.23 on a 00 camaro.

rear might hold 3 hard launches you cant race 500rwhp on a 10bolt with a manual tranny and be hookin hard of the line, just dont work, not long anyway, not to mention you would be nuts to leave a 3.23 gear in a manual car, thats just waaaaaaay to much gear, you should be 4.10 or so and in a 12 bolt, you would kill clutches fast on a 3.23 gear leaving hard anyway, not to mention the massive bog you will get

Why would 3.23's kill clutches faster than 4.10's launching hard.

I would think so....unless you were running a bigger tire. It's gonna depend on where you are at at the end of the track. Depening on rev limiter and what you are trapping my guess is that you would just be able to rev out 4th gear with a 4.10

if you go to a 4.56 you're probably gonna have to shift into 5th

cause its going to drag the motor down alot harder since the car wont take off as hard, more gear the easier it is to get out the hole, the less gear, the more your motor will bogg and put more strain on the clutch

with your power level you shootin for i would run a 28 inch tire and a 4.30 or 4.56 gear if you dont plan to rev past 7k, im trapin 131mph at about 7000-7100rpm with a 28w tire and 4.56 gear

I thought it would benifit me more going with a 4.xx if I was planing on reving the motor to higher rpm's. Im also going to be using a 28 inch tire.
