3rd gear on STOCK M6 feels a little notchy

Default 3rd gear on STOCK M6 feels a little notchy

I dont miss the gear, but it feels a little notchy... and i can feel it engage..

anyone else have this? Diagnosis?

my gears are the same.

I think the T56 is just a notchy transmission. It hasnt gotten any worse for the last 15k miles so thats why I think that is just the way it is

Mine does the same thing. it has done it since i bought the car over a year ago.

sometimes that alum. third gear fork bends, or that pad on the fork wears down. my car hated 3rd and wouldnt even go into 5th because of 3 dollars worth of plastic pads that go on the forks. when you bang gears hard, its hard on the pads, and if you crack one, your dealing with a ton of labor for a 3 dollar part. as far as i know, no one makes better pads, but a pro 5.0 shifter can save cracking pads by setting the stops on the shifter
