Default Do I have to get a new flywheel...

Heres the deal...

I sold my Camaro. It has 64K on it and will probably need a new clutch soon so I told my friend I'll put a new one in. I bought a LUK Z06 clutch minus the flywheel. Has anyone gotten away with resurfacing their original flywheel or do I have to get a new one?

Thanks,
Jason

Although GM does not recommend it, surfacing the stock flywheel is safe.

When I bought my new clutch, I bought the LUK Pro Gold series and they only work with the aluminum flywheel they are balanced with so I had to buy their flywheel. With a stock replacement LUK clutch, you can resurface your flywheel.
