Lightbulb 98 z28 pcm automatic to work with a t56

98 z28 pcm automatic to work with a t56, i know a pcm for an auto tranny and a manual tranny are different, is there somewhere i can reprogram it to work right with the t56 that im swapping into my 98 z28, or do i just need to buy the whole pcm for a t56? and the wiring to , there to different things how do i find this to, THNX

I'm also planning this for the winter. You can re-flash your current pcm to M6 using HPT or possibly, I'm not sure, Flashcan. Wiring harness can be modified for M6 with little tricks There's a a4 to m6 thread in manual transmission section, check it out.

I might try just using A4 program with M6 by disabling codes and making pcm think the a4 tranny is on 3rd when P/N switch is not activated.

Default i think thats a little more complicated

the wirring harness thats on there, how to i make to be to use with the t56 and the pcm how do i reflash it, info on website or product or anything that can do this, it would save me time and money thnx

Smile engine bay harness for 98 z28 6 speed

i bought an engine bay wiring harness for a 98 z28 6 speed, like i said before im planning on converting my 98 z28 4l60e to a t56, is this what i need to get the right connectios for the tranny like the reverse lights? and pcm connection, cause im not comfortable splicing my stock harness, this harness is stock but from another z28 98, im sure it will work if the pcm is reflashed to m6 usage?
