Lightbulb Shifter?

Hey guys and girls. I'm new here. Just recently got an 02 M6 Z28. I want to replace the shifter. What's the best one to get? I think i probably want to go short throw. Maybe not though. All suggestions welcome.

Pro 5.0 w/ LSS.

Or the B&M ripper - which I have and love.

Pro 5.0 = VERY knotchy (but I still like it). If you want a really nice short throw, this is for you.

B&M ripper is great if you like something smooth that you can slam gears hard in all day long.

In either case, get a nice short stick (Lou's Short Stick *LSS* is a popular one but others are pretty much as good for less).

Ok so now i know which shifters to consider. What's the best place to get them. And does the pro 5.0 come with the "LSS" or is that another aftermarket thing?

I was looking at it a while ago. I have a Pro-5.0, but when I was researching this same topic the one person who I know has used it says they like it much better than the 5.0

Seems like it might be worth a try if you don't mind taking a risk. If you do, please post a review.

Another vote for the Pro 5.0. The stick on the 5.0 allows you to shorten it. I cut off 1/2" and got a "free short stick". It's worked fine for the past 18 months and many track passes.
