Default cam install price?, what cam to get?

i was just wondering if someone could tell me the total price on a cam install . keepin mind im looking for somthng streetable and a good to fair idle. i am able to stick with my stock lifters, rods, rockers? ne tips or advice?

that just depends on the shop. find out if you are near a sponsor and give them a call. im sure they would give you a better total price if it was one of their cams and they did the work. i would guess $1200-$1500, depending on cam, kit, install and tune.

cam kit ~ 700
install ~500
tune ~500

and check out the cam guide in my sig to get you started.

Where are you located my bud & I do cam/spring installs for 400.00. Five hour turnaround.MANY refrences.

Shop around here charges 500 springs 500 for cam install, thats tuned

hey you might want to keep in mind that you might need a bigger stall converter depending on the size cam.
