Default How much clearance

How much clearance is needed between the oil pickup and the bottom of the oil pan? Thanks John.

Any help guys! I have about 1/4" clearance between the oil pan and the pick up. I hope that will be enough. Thanks John.

Not sure, but i know that you dont want it too close from personal experience!

1/4 should be great. Anything over 3/8 is getting to loose.

Thanks Kurt, I plan on calling you about doing some work on my C5R heads. I think the push rod holes need opened up some. Thanks again John.
