Talking I just finished my Monsoon deck LEDs - pics

I was tired of looking at burnt out radio buttons, so I decided to take care of the problem. I used 3000mcd Super whites with 1/2 watt 680ohm resistors. My HVAC lights are going to be done soon as well as my gauges, map light, cargo light and headlight switch. The HVAC will look awesome with my ***** glowing from LEDs!

Finished radio look. These pictures do not do justice. Once you see them in person they look 100 times better!

It's pretty simple, and it costs about $13 in supplies (if you already have a soldering iron).

The hardest part to do is making sure your resistors don't cause a clearance problem. I had to grind down 1 part inside the radio to make it work. If you can find 1/4 watt resistors, then no grinding should be needed, but they are hard to find in 680ohm. I had to grind a light tube, but it had no adverse readtion, and everything works great.
