Default Is OLFA table used for any normal operating conditions ?

I'm wondering if there are any normal conditions where this is used ? Not talking about during tuning and you have LTFT turned off ? What is this table used for under normal conditions ?

the table is used on a cold start while the car is warming up. it adds fuel to the mixture based on the multiplier...normally on a cold startup it needs more fuel to achieve a proper fuel mixtureand to run properly (or atleast that was my understanding of what happens in a cold engine)...esentially it is an Electronically controlled fuel mixture doing the same purpose as a choke and venturi would on a carbuerater..only instead of mechanical...it just adding fuel cause it needs more fuel on a cold start

would be used anytime the pcm calls for OL opperation. Under normal circumstances, once the car is up to operating temperature, this table is not used.

ok, i will ask again...why have an OLFA table in PE range ? Why have an OLFA table for any cells other than cold start ? Someone posted in case of a closed loop malfunction, but what ?

Closed loop malfunction, like dead 02, or dead MAF, or some other sensor out of range.

because in those cold temperatures it may be needed in some vehicles that dont have a PE multiplier based on ECT...
when entering PE your car uses what ever value is the Highest..and if OLFA is commanding 1.17 and PE is onlt 1.13..then it uses the 1.17 value from the OLFA
again this is because not all vehicle OS's have a PE Multiplier based on ECT

so would it be safe to place OLFA cells at WOT to 1.00 to allow PE full time control of WOT fueling

p.s. sorry for the hijack

no
not safe...unless your PE multiplier vs ECT is Tuned in properly
and its not based on Fuel Trim cells...its based on MAP...
MAP of 80 does not necessarily mean PE
PE is enabled by MAP and Triggerd By TPS vs RPM

there is a reason for this table..why do you want to defeat this reason?

The table is used -conditionally- during all open loop
operation. PE/WOT is one open loop mode that is
accessible by pedal. If this table is the fattest then
it will be used at WOT. If something else overrides it
with heavier fueling then it will be ignored but this
table is your "bedrock" enrichment and should be
made like you meant to use it.
