I tried to do a search by size on the tire rack site & came up with nothing. I'll check some local tire places. Thanks for the reply.

Found out that M/T makes a radial for a 4" rim. They are spendy but it should be a good tire plus it is 26" diameter. :) http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/street.html

Support our sponsors. Tire Rack has them. Kumho power star 758. 165/80/15 I believe the size is. Call the and ask for tires for a VW bug.

EDIT: Here you go:

The Kuhmos are pretty nice tires. The regular 165R has been getting phased out and mostly all you can find is the 'T' version which is a 44psi version with a couple hundred pound more max load for the VW bus.

yo i called tire rack when i needed mine and they said they had them so i ordered then waited 2 week and nothing...called them back and rhey said we wont have them for 2 months so i went to pep boys like 20 miles away and thay had 4 sets left. i piced up a pair but i ithink i will go back and get the others.

the pep boys tires are rated at a higher wieght and higher psi rating as well...better tire

Jerry's tires did rub on my car....but just barely....left a small mark on my fender liners....

On my wheels...15x5.5 and 15x 8.5 warriors I have a 205/65/15 and 26x10.5 ET Streets.....a bit wider and a touch shorter....don't rub at all...but when I drive to the track on them I do get the ABS and brake lights on after a while (20 miles)....when the slicks are aired down to race pressure(19 psi) the lights stay off....

Is anyone running 15x4 prostars on a 96 camaro, stock brakes? Do I need to still grind and add spacers?

SUX2BU

for the 15x4's you have to grind an INSANE amount AND use spacers.

Yep you have to do both.. your better off with a set of 15X3.5's at least with them you can get away with just running a spacer....... but running a spacer isnt legal at the track and really is scary if you think about it.... alot more stress on the studs....

Are you SURE? LT1s have much smaller front brakes than an LS1.

I've owned an LT1 before but NEVER again. Luckily back then i wasn't into wrenchin on cars yet.
VIPRETR2: Why even risk it? Just run the 3.5 skinnies and if the LT1 brakes are smaller you might be able to get away with not grinding anything and no spacers. the 3.5 have WAY better clearence so i can't understand why anyone would run the 4".
I would NEVER put any spacers on any car i owned with stock studs. seen a couple of wheels fall off because of this.

.

Maybe you just got a lemon. I love my LT1 car. I've dynoed 410 RWhp with a 218 degree duration cam. That is comparable to most LS1s. The only failure I've had in 11 years is the CD player. :) HONESTLY!

Also, with the Centerline Convo Pros and Telstars 4-inchers I haven't had to use any spacers or grinding whatsoever. But with the Weld 3.5inchers I had to use a 3/8" spacer.

Yeah, I hear ya. Especially the passenger side header and the whole AC compressor/power steering pump mount nightmare.
