Drag Racing Results - What if?? I had a set of ET Streets and skinnies..

I seldom get to the track. Got there on Saturday and made 2 full runs. (2 others were just to see if I could hook up) Traction with the DRs was a big problem.

1st run. I was able to feather it to a 1.822. Did the 1/8th mile in 7.301 @97.88 mph. Finished the 1/4 in 11.28 @ 124.

Last run. Decided to try the N20 at about the 200 ft mark. I pulled a shitty 2.038 60',,, 1/8th mile was 7.58 @ 102.66.. 1/4 was only 11.35 at get this, 130 mph.

How much would you think the ETs would drop if I had a good set of tires and skinnies?

You could very likely see 10.7 at 130.

i'm thinking you should see atleast 10.50 with 130mph trap speeds.

I put together a 427, mild cam and a 100 N2O shot. If I hit lotto, Im gonna drop the $2500 on a set of CCW Drags.. I feel I could do 135 with a few tweeks.

I feel I have the HP to run in the 10's n/a..

there was a car at the track a few weeks ago...set up very similar. full weight 427 car with very mild cam...4L60E...sounded very tame. was going high 10's on motor and 10.0 on a 200 shot. sounds like ur car has the same ability. nice job :drive:
