Default Frank Hawley Drag Racing School?

I was just wondering if anyone has been to his program and if so what do you think about it? I'm planning on going to the Super Comp Dragster, Super Gas Firebird and then progressing to the Alcohol class and just wanting to see what everyone thinks about them?

Jack Beckman trained Jen for S/ST, S/G and ET at Pomona, in fact Jack has trained all of John's family for S/C. You will not find a better drag racing school then Frank Hawley's. The alcohol classes are taught at Gainesville, Fl.

Good, that's what I've heard, that it's real nice. It's the official drag racing school for the NHRA is what I'm majorly looking at. Good to know, thanks.

From reading Frank Hawley's monthly article in National Dragster, he seems to really have his act together when it comes to the teaching aspect of drag racing. I can't count the number of times I've thought to myself, "wow, I'd never of thought of that", when I've read his back page article. If I could afford to go, I'd do it in a heartbeat. His successful drag racing career in rides such as the Chi Town Hustler Funny Car, Larry Minor's Miller High Life Dragster, and Darrell Gwynn's Coors Extra Gold Dragster don't hurt his credibility either.

Actually Derek, I talked with Gary at Frank Hawley's (during the finals) and they now offer a bracket class. It is a classroom instruction taught at both Gainesville and Pomona, cost is about $960 for two days. We are planning on taking the course, I also am planning on taking the alcohol mechanics course (under $1000), where they teach you about the whole car setup, data, weather, etc ... pretty much be a crew for TAD/FC.

Sounds good George! Maybe after getting my *** handed to me next year, I'll talk to Frank Hawley about that class (hoping the class comes with a change of identity so no one will know it's me).
