Default Question T-56 or Automatic

I have a t-56 with a cluch slipping and shift forks bent. Hard to shift. Should I just repair it with a ram stage 2 or 3 clutch or just go and swap to a turbo 350 or 400 with a 4000 stall?

the swap will be WAY more expensive. It depends on the direction you want your car to go....you want this for primarily drag racing? Or street fun with drag racing on the side? If your wanting a drag car do the swap, if its a Daily Driver occational drag, stay M6!!!

I'll agree with dave
but if you stay m6, check out the ram HD clutch, or if you want to spend money, the aussie clutch seems to be a good choice lately... they say it drives like stock
(the ram doesnt... )

agree with both. stay with the M6 unless you want an all out drag car.

Perfect excuse to get hardened shafts/gears, dog synchros, and fancy forks for that T56.
