I seldom get to the track. Got there on Saturday (ECS CC) and made 2 full runs. (2 others were just to see if I could hook up) Traction with the DRs was a big problem.

1st run. I was able to feather it to a 1.822. Did the 1/8th mile in 7.301 @97.88 mph. Finished the 1/4 in 11.28 @ 124.

Last run. Decided to try the N20 at about the 200 ft mark. I pulled a shitty 2.038 60',,, 1/8th mile was 7.58 @ 102.66.. 1/4 was only 11.35 at get this, 130 mph.

How much would you think the ETs would drop if I had a good set of tires and skinnies?

Thanks for the imput..

Figure about 2 tenths off your ET for every tenth you take off your 60 foot. ET streets should allow you to hook up very well. They have a great reputation. I plan on buying some before next season (if money permits). I know of some guys who consistantly run 1.4's with them. :eek2: If you could get your car to hook like that, that's roughly 7-8tenths off your time. :eek2: Mid 10's I guess........Damn........that's fast

Yea your n20 run shows your spinning. If you were hooking up, you'ed have a 10.xx run for sure. For comparison only, my n2o run in my sig, my 1/8 was 7.06 @ 100.62, but I had a fairly good hook up with a 1.531 60. So, I think you were spinning quite a bit. I am also going to the ET Streets, or maybe the 345 30 18 BFG Dr. Times in sig are on 315 BFG's, but can't really hold the power I am putting out know. Good luck, you have one quick Vette on your hands. :drive:

Thanks for the words guys. Maybe next years income tax refund will go to a set of tires (and roll cage) :)

Yea, on one of the tracks I run on, I did the 11.04 and they warned me about roll bar. So, I jetted down and took it easy, but next run was 11.507, man they gave me the eye, but was legal. The next week, my first run I get a 11.4x and they gave me the boot for the rest of the year. Oh well, I'll have a bar for next year.
