The headers will give you the most power for sure. Let me help you out if you dont mind by giving you some good advice.

It seems like you are really into the SLP stuff. Their headers are not the way to go my friend. They are good quality but too expensive and they hang too low. Their y pipe is a waste of money flat out.

Look around some of the sponsors sites. If you want good headers cheap look at the Pacesetters. If you want even better headers and dont mind paying 800 bucks then take a look at some Kooks.

Your Loudmouth is ok. Alot of people run that. Their lid is ok. I wouldnt touch their y pipe or headers with a 10ft pole.

The only thing on your list that will give you power are the headers, and I would go with Stainless Works. Best LT header for the money, for a stock cubed ls1. IMHO

None of the above. Get a set of Kooks race LT's & ORY.

Look into getting a lid if you haven't done so yet; that will get you the most hp/dollar.

Next, I would look into getting some Kooks headers with their y.

I agree here and you dont need kooks at $800(header alone) if your staying with a stock bottom end. WTF is with the ory's on here? With the hi-flow cats and the risk of being raspy you dont need an ory for a daily driver unless your just going for the loudest most obnoxious sound you can get. Like was stated get a lid first and then LT's with a random tech catted y.

I went with the Kooks and Catted Y. There expensive but I wanted the highest quality. I'm not a Kooks/QTP nut hanger or anything, I realize everyone has there priorities and SS headers are not for everyone. If you want to save some money go with the Pacesetters, bang for the buck.

Thats why I went with Stainless Works, $200 less than Kooks or QTP. Mine have been confused to be Kooks on the car and my numbers speak for themself with around 440hp and 420 tq with a tr224 and p/p heads. The quality is top notch as well with think flanges and premium welds.

Two reasons ORY pipes are popular here.

1). Price. Catted Y pipes are $325-$500. ORY can be had for as little as $120. That may not seem like too bad of a difference but when you just dropped $400-$800 on headers it helps keep the expense of going to LT headers to a minimum.

2). HP gains. You don't lose alot of power through HF cats but I've heard 3-5 rwhp can be left on the table from not using the ORY. This is one of those rare F-body cases where you actually gain HP by saving money instead of spending it.

As far as sound goes, LT headers with ORY will be loud for sure. But if you have a SLP dual/dual or Hooker catback then you would be surprised at just how quiet and refined LT headers can be even with an ORY. But dynomouth + LT's + ORY = LOUD. I think I wake the dead when I go WOT

But ORY pipes are not for everyone. If you live in an area with emission testing that includes a visual or sniffer then you won't want an ORY. If your an enviornmentalist then you won't want an ORY. If you can't take a slightly stinkier exhaust then you won't want an ORY.

Other then that, I highly recommend an ORY

Get a lid first, then your choice of headers to fit your budget and goals.

Exhaust is nice, however..I recommend a looser torque converter. You will gain .4-.5 in the 1/4 mile
then I recommend LT headers, ORY, and a cutout...you will not be disappointed

Cats & Y-pipe will gain you next to nothing, 2-3 rwhp if you are lucky. Headers will give you 25-35 rwhp.

I would also suggest Kooks over the SLP headers.

Hmmm, 25-35 rwhp....I gained 15.55rwhp and 17.75rwtq going from ALL STOCK exhaust to coated longtubes, ORY, and a Hooker catback. Yes, this was without a tune, but the a/f was better after the exhaust than before....still rich, but not as much as before the exhaust....weird, but the truth......So on a stock car, I don't see JUST headers doing ANYWHERE near 25-35 at the wheels.

Oh yeah, same dyno, diff day of course, but almost identical run conditions. That's my .02
