Default Is this a good 1/8 e.t.

Mods in sig with out nitrous. 8.17 e.t. on M/T launching at 1200rpm. Its a a4 ,I dont have a stall converter yet and I dont have a good tune. Altitude is kind of shity. What should it run with a 3400 stall and a good tune?

I just ran a 8.11 with nothing more that a 3400/2.1 Fuddle and headers ory and magnaflow catback and a k&n fipk, so I feel you should be much faster with heads cam suspension and gears. What was your 60' times and your trap speed.
Then again w/o the converter I ran a 8.5xx. So If you stall it you would see a big drop in et but probally not much gain in trap speed.

I ran a 8.1 with no stall, 3.73's, 18's all around, header back exhaust, stock internal, slp airlid...

I would think a cammed car would be a little quicker than that... but a stall will definatly knock that time down...and a tune will help alot as well...

I think your times should be a lot quicker than that with a cam/head car. Take that baby to get it tuned IMMEDIATELY and get you a 3500 stall converter and you will be AMAZED at the numbers. Right now you are restricting the cars potential with that stock converter. If you do what you need to, you should be running around mid-low 7's, possibly.

You must have had a pretty bad 60 ft,what tires you running and what was your 60ft?

Head n Cam with suspension and gears IMHO should go quicker than my stock weight/stock internals A4 with Headers/catback and PT 4000 yank with 17 in Chrome ZR1's with Nitto's

1.61
7.8
85

Get yourself a 3800-4000 stall (if your looking for track times)or a 3200 if you just like having a real quick street car and track times are not your only goal.
Good luck
Dave
