I am looking to purchase the Fast Fuel rails. I was wondering if anyone knew what thread the rails have on them? 3/8"-NPT???

Also, Does anyone know what Aeroquip part number is needed for adapting to the stock fuel hard lines? (somthing that has a -6 Female end on one side)

Im about to go get all my fittings and those are the only two i am unsure of

look for Parbreak's thread in this forum...
should be on the first page if not the 2nd.

russel is the only fitting company that i've seen to adapt to stock line...

Ask Nate at Nasty Performance, his ls1 kit uses it.

Well.. i work at Eaton (owner of Aeroquip) and i can get a few fittings for free, i didnt see anything similar to the russel fitting... hmm. Looks like i may have to pay for it.

Welllll i could use some fittings ;)
but the only thing i've found is the russel fitting that Nasty uses, and its the same as posted in that thread.

But, those fittings are rarely listed through various places, its a female 3/8hardline to -6an i believe
check with aeroquip to see if they have it, but i doubt they do. Nasty is a fan of aeroquip fittings, and his kit includes all aeroquip except for that fitting.

I think there were 3 different companys in the kit can't remember, but the connection to the factory line was sweet, he's the only using it from what I've seen and only one mfg'er makes it from what we could find when looking for it.

That is with the fittings, the actual rail is tapped for 3/8-NPT, then a 3/8 to -8AN fitting is on the end.

no they are tapped 8-an, Pipe threads are tapered & these are definatly not tapered. i can screw both ends of an 8-an unioin into the rail.

Awe man FAST rails? Why we just ran a sale on our rails. Ours are 3/8" pipe I do not know what FAST uses maybe O'ringed -8. As far as the Russell fitting they are the only ones that make that style fitting everyting else I try and use Aeroquip.

Earls make a hard tube adaptor as well without the need to flare the tube, I have there 2003 catalogue and its listed, just purchased 3 the other week.
