Default Anybody Buy from The Trailerman?

I am going to be purchasing a trailer to haul my car with after Christmas and I was just wondering what other people have. Where did you buy? What did you buy? How much was it?

I was looking at either the 18' steel deck or the 16' wood deck. I don't really need anything fancy just a good trailer that is balanced and tows well. The price quotes from the Trailerman were very good so what has everyone else done?

Thanks

I bought my 18" steel deck hauler from Trailerman. I shopped all over TX and his prices were the best. I custom ordered the trailer and it showed up in 5 weeks.

Wow, that is a small trailer...do you haul your RC car around with that! Ha just kidding, I know you meant 18' trailer. I know what you mean about his prices, I was surprised in a good way when I called. If you don't mind me asking (you can PM me if you want) what did you pay and what options did you get?

Thanks

I ordered the fancy steel deck hauler, with the polished diamond plate corners and step rail going all the way around it. Also ordered it with the rock guard up front. Its their "Deluxe" model open hauler. I think I paid $2700 out the door for it (taxes included).

I bought my first trailer from him and felt that I got a good deal for what I paid for it. This was probably 2-3 years ago. 20' steel deck car hauler with a shield, spare tire, d-rings in the floor, extended dove tail w/ extra wide ramps and ramp extensions, flip up jack, and extended neck (so I could put a tool box on the front). I paid $2000 for it then.

Damn Tony, that is a pimp hauler. But I guess you can't haul those nice rides of yours on a ratty trailer right!?

Well, I will probably just get the basic model with brakes...I was quoted 2K for the 18' steel deck with brakes. The wood deck was obviously cheaper and to bo honest fits my budget better.

I bought my 22 foot car hauler from him and was extremely dissapointed. First off he gave us a date when the trailor would be ready, and did not make the cut off. We were going to use the trailor to travel out of state and pick up a car. He ended up loaning us one to use. Then it took him like 2 months to get the tags, we had to literally call up there and hound them to get them done. We paid extra for them to do the plates, and it would have been easier to just do them ourself.
