Exclamation Need Help!!!

I bought a 2000 Trans am in April of 05 from Tony. I know that his wife didnt rag the car out but yesterday it started to f*ck up on me all of a sudden. I was driving home from work and i shifted the car through the gears normally, and when i placed the car into 3rd gear the transmission shot the stick out of gear. Well i didnt think anything of it at first, but later that night i was driving and at a complete stop put the car into 1st and the same thing happend and it wouldnt let me go into 1st, 3rd, or reverse. the car has 73K miles and the stock clutch has to be replaced, but it wasnt slipping at all. So now i cant put the car into 1st, 3rd, or reverse at all without the problem occuring. If anyone knows what it could be please let me know.

Thanks kev

It could be the master cylinder, the slave cylinder, the throwout bearing, the clutch or all of the above!

do some searching in the manual transmission section. Pretty common problem with our hydraulic clutch setups. There are quite a few things it could be though.
