Opening Drivers door doesn't turn off Acces.

Opening Drivers door doesn't turn off Acces. Well just like the topic says. I had the body shop realign my door yesterday and ever since then opening up the drivers side door does not cut power to my stereo or windows. I made sure the plug was in all the way and they cut off when the passengers door is opened so what gives. It is a new unit in the door so it can't be that. Any suggestions?

The switch in the door is part of the door latch (unlike older cars which had a separate pin switch). It is not uncommon for the switch to get gummed up and stop working. Also, there is a little bit of adjustment available in the latch/switch positioning. Take it back to the body shop and have them adjust the door latch mechanism. While you're at it, spray some contact cleaner in there. That should take care of the problem.
