Default Emissions readiness failure?

Howdy! I paid a guy $10 last night to check my emissions without actually doing a test. I didn't have any codes, but I failed 3 readiness tests.
We used hp tuners and he choose to not report to the computer, not the more extreme choice of removing the whole code??? I think that's it...
Here's what failed.

1) secondary air. - I unplugged the air solenoid when I removed all the air stuff. didn't program anything with the air stuff. We didn't know.
2)evap.- ?????
3)O2 heater.

we tuned off codes 106,412,&500( speed sensor)

It hasn't thrown any codes, but I've driven it about 400 miles since we did that. Everything should have reset. Any ideas? I need to get something done so I can drive the car in time to reset everything quick, my emmisions are due in 2 weeks.
Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told that 150 miles would be fine. I've put an easy 400 since I had this stuff tuned off. Shouldn't this have reset by now?

The alternate method to lots and lots of driving would be to delete all readyness related codes, take the test then put it all back to normal. If you delete all the right codes everything will read ready right after you turn the key on. They include all o2 codes, o2 heater, egr, air, evap ect.

He beat me to it. I have had excellent luck doing that. Afterwards my EGR always said it was good to go (even though it was gone). Same with my AIR!.

set all codes that relate to 02, cat, evap etc to not report, leave SES enabled. All states go complete immediately

Ok, I swore when we were looking in the choices of codes the list went on forever. I didn't know if there was a few in particular we should look for. Thanks for helping a tuning novice.

yeha my Camaro is throwing those readiness codes... the Evap system is one that should go away w// driving. These cars do not have heaters in the oxygen sensors, also the 2nd AIR could/should go away w/ driving... send a PM to Moparnos he checked mine and tole me, and his cousins car failed for those reasons the 1st 2 times... passed the 3rd w/ lots and lots of driving.

our cars do have o2 heaters. Those codes must also go if you want readyness to pass right away. Like we said. All codes related, o2, o2 heat, all air, all cats, all egr, ect ect.

Yes, even if your car is not throwing the codes, they have to go. Like if you tuned out EGR using HPTuners but don't delete your codes then your car may never throw the code, but you still won't pass your readiness test because the PCM is still waiting for your car to try and reach the (unreachable because of tuning) requirements. I hope that helps more than it confuses you.

I just got my emmisios test done. I passed with flying colors!!!!!!!!!

Big thanks to everyone who gave me the info and special thanks to distortion69 who took care of the programming and also for setting up a race with a stage 2 skittle using a 75 shot.

Two runs, one from 2nd gear and one from 3rd up to 140 mph. The race was even through 3rd gear and then I'd start pulling. At the end of each race I was 3 cars ahead and pulling. When I get a dyno tune I should have a lil' more oats. Plus having the stock rev limiter doesn't help much.

Thanks again to everyone!!!!!

I have the same problem. So you just set all codes to X: Not Reported, right. Do you have a list of the PO's changed?

We went down the list and deleted the codes altogether but to leave the ses light enabled. That way, with the light enabled the readiness will set even though there is no code to go with it. I don't know all together what codes were done. We were able to see each readiness that didn't work before go to ready as we found the correct combo of deleted codes.
Hope this helps.

Glad you tested it out for us. I had done it to my car, but they didn't do emmissions testing where I had the car, so I never checked to make 100% sure it would pass. Sweet.
