Default camming a stock internal FI car

current setup in sig...im looking into going with a comp cam 218/ 230 114 lsa blower cam...engine is bone stock internally...will putting this cam in my engine jeopordize it? I am in college now, so the car is driven less than 20 miles a week. Just want to squeze some more hp out of the car before i have to rebuild to a 355. I would rebuild now, but im a broke college student so itll have to wait a while. I will also most likely be adding an obx fmic to the car soon...am i going to need to worry about my ring lands going with this setup? Car has 1000 miles since blower install. thanks

I suggest adding a 4" OBX intercooler, then upping the boost to nine pounds. With a good tune, you will be way ahead of a cam change, plus your inlet air temps will be down. Bob
