Well, as everyone knew I was the only person yesterday at the goat get together in Richmond that had a dirty goat. Well I made up for it today and had my friend detail it and get some good shots.

Hey Nick, Nice Pics! I noticed you cut out your mufflers. Do you have any video/audio on how your exhaust sounds? Is it much louder than stock?

those rims would look graet if you get them chrome dipped

Yes, it is much, much louder than stock. For comparison, my friend has a 02 Z28 with lt's, off-road y-pipe, and flowmaster dumped and my car is still louder and raspier than his. It's nice and deep, but if you downshift at the redlights from 55 and go to 2nd it sounds like gunfire. :)

If you like loud exhaust, do it. Nice thing is though is with the windows up the sound deadening makes it still sound stock. By far the cheapest and one of the best sounding set-ups you can do. Not to mention if Johnny Law pulls you the resonator can be shown as being your muffler. I did it because I wanted loud but couldn't see spending $600+ on a catback to gain 3-5whp where the whp gain is obviously losing the HUGE mufflers it has on it stock.

Thanks nick, that helps. I am going to pass on the muffler delete. My Z28 was loud as hell and I loved it. But now I want to keep my GTO fairly quiet, but a bit louder than stock. It is nice to know that the car has good sound deading abilities. I couldn't stand the constant drone in my camaro.

Thanks, I know what you mean. Certain colors look meaner than others. I think this car looks hot in black and yellow especially. Others are fine too, just not as aggressive.

Its hard to explain but this car really is awesome, I have grown to love mine alot, its the perfect car to go around town in and it looks futuristic instead of retro which is kinda cool. Somethign about driving it and seeing those hoodscopps from inside lol, pretty freakin sweet.
