Default rescreening a maf sensor

I plan on putting my stock maf sensor back on (removing a slp 85mm) and i have removed the screen .When i removed it i carefully cut it out and believe it is good enough to put back in.My question is what would you use to reglue it----super glue,,epoxy..what???.

Me personally,I wouldn't try to put it back in.I had mine desreened/ported and went back to a stock one.You would think any kind of glue/epoxy would skew the readings.Since the screen is there to straighten the air flow.Plus if what you use doesn't hold,it would get sucked into the wires.

I think your better off getting a new one or finding one used that someone has.

Agreed. Just learn from your mistakes and get a new one. Make sure to match your exact year, and don't go the e-bay route. Just take the hit to the wallet and walk camly down to your nearest GM parts dealer.

And remember the saying "Dont touch my MAF!"
