stock box and MAF ok guys MY NEW LID has come in today for my 00 camaro.. only promblem is i cant get the DARN stock box off the MAF 
i have spent over an Hr trying to get them apart its as if its stuck on there .. such hard plastic..cant even budge it ..haha ..WHAT did all you guys do to SEPERATE the both

of course i took that clamp off but that seems to do nothing .. when u loosend ur screw on the clamp did urs pop off its not like the the pice if rubber and slips off. this stuff is tuff.. only way i can see is sticking in a vice to get some grip & Twist but dont want to break the MAF

this happened to me too. i sprayed wd-40 all over it where it goes in then a friend of mine held the stock box and i pulled and twisted the maf out. two people helps alot. i actualy got most of my bolt-ons for free when the same friend wrecked his camaro and my lid came with the maf already in it..... the only reason i took my maf out of my stocker was to give it away to a guy who cleaned his maf out with carb spray lol.
