Default Help! Are my heads warped????

My car overheated and I pulled over let it cool and try to make it home. it happenned about 5 times, and temp was almost but never on red. Now I have coolant in the exhaust(white smoke) but the car acts and idles normal until the coolant runs thru and it'll get hot, my question is what temp. does it take to warp the heads? I hope is just a gasket. I am running a gt42 turbo at 5lbs with patriot heads ls6 cam and stock head bolts now going with ARP bolts and cometic gaskets. help please !!!

If it did not go into the red, then I think that your fine and the head gaskets whent. Once you pull the head you will be able to see what happened. Worst case you may have to mill the heads to clean the up.

When you get the heads off you can straight edge them.

Yeah, milling the heads down a couple of thousandths isnt a big deal.
