Anyone use one of their 4L60e tranny's yet? Seems like a pretty good buy. Anyone with experience with their trannys would be greatly appreciated. They want $1845 shipped for a tranny rated to hold 700hp with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty. That is with a converter, although I will probably not use their converter and use a Fuddle.

i would also like some feeback on Mad Dog Transmissions. i have been looking at one of their 4L80E trannies on Ebay.

no one locally has one. i know of a guy down near miami that has a 4L80e in his TA. seems real happy. i will ask the locals if they know anything about them.

I think someone on the impalassforum.com has one of his transmissions and it took a crap on him and he's having a hard time contacting MadDog for warranty.

mad dog is not a great builder... a buddy has his built 700R4 and it dumped after 1 month after in a STOCK 92 T/A.
and I know a guy that went through 5 of their trannys in a stock LT1 till he got the hint. (dumb ***)
