Cheapest lid you can find, I went TSP because they're near where I live and have a really good reputation... as for MAF I bought the GMS 85mm but I'm kind of regretting it now because it's so hard to tune out... I'm thinking of going !MAF.. just my .02

Yeah, get a used lid....I am sure that there is one for sale in here somewhere. TSP does make a sweet lid. Not sure what the size is though 85m? But I bet sometime real soon there will be a lid that is a 90. But yeah find any lid, and just get a SD tune done and that will solve your MAF problem. plus it will be less in the way obstructing your airflow.

and, the money that you would spend on the MAF could just go towards your Speed Density tune! Its a good bid man. I have been contemplating the same rout for about 6 months now.

Ive never heard about the SD tune, who does it and for how much? So your saying with this tune, I can remove the maf all together and run without one? If so id say thats the route to go....So nobody makes a 90mm lid? That kinda defeats the pourpose of gettin a 90/90 setup...

I know im gettin a tune for sure, I have a pile of parts here, pretty much everything in my sig is in my house ready for install. Im just gettin the motor rebuilt like new, gonna break it in, and then im going mod happy! im gonna put everything on at once and do the tune right then and there. All I need is heads, injectors, lid, and maf before I dig in and hope to dyno in some real gains from it all
