No Spark!!!
Ok I recently posted up a thread about my car not even turning over, fiqured that out since it was a unhooked clutch switch. Now i can get it to turn over, make 58psi to the rails but get no spark. Crank sensor, cam, maf sensors are hooked up. Grounds to the back of the head, block near the starter and to the body are connected securely. When i turn the key the pump doesnt pulse for 2 seconds or do anything, i had to hardwire it. Still have to check whether its the relay i put in or the signal. Could the coil packs be flipped and cause this problem? Other than that i can only think of tracing it back to the crank sensor, it might be too large of a gap? I did use a feeler gauge before closing up the engine.
Thanks, Dave

Don't know what Speartech does in their wiring harness to eliminate VATS, but you are having problems, Right? I think that if the BCM in the car is not the same as the PCM was originally linked to, you are going to have problems with VATS. but I'm not an expert on VATS. I just know that with PCM editing software VATS is easy to turn off and I'd be giving that a try.

Ok i fumbled around some connections, etc, etc and now the security light comes on but then goes off. If it was a vats problem wouldnt the light stay on? Whos dealt with VATS...
