Smog is OBII plug in only! No codes and pass All tests need to be ready but you can have up to 2 pending and still pass. I'm not sure but they may require a full inspection when you register the car. maybe not cuz your from cali? one thing to keep in mind is that all smog machines report to the DMV directly..... so if you fail a test it will be recorded...most of the smog dudes are cool and will terminate before the end of the test so you can fix whats wrong. as far as cool spots it all depends your in vegas hell anything is possible!! good luck
