N2O fed 408 car got drug by an LT1?? Anyone in H-town hear about this??? Talked to the new owner of my old car today and he said he got into a run w/ a stroker LS1 car last night...... Apparently Nick's LT1 has some company beating on some LS1's now... hehe 
Although.. He could've been just talking. Dunno for sure. He managed to break the torque arm in half - LOL.. so.. Who knows.

I heard about this. Guy I met last weekend with a white LT1 Camaro ran with a dark colored Trans Am last night. Camaro is ".030 over 357 LT1" with 150 shot. If the Trans Am really is a 408 on dope, he needs a new engine, tune, or whole new car!!! BTW the LT1 is untuned also.

Are we talking about the White Camaro with the huge system in the back owned by the kid? I met him at the sonic meet and he backed down from my 408 car. I offered to run him on motor vs him on gas and he wouldn't have anything to do with it. He makes too many excuses...

i'm not sure if it's the same guy 'cuz he hasn't shown up. he said he was leaving to head over here at 11 PM and it should have taken around an hour.
i would seriously doubt that this car isn't tuned.

it's bored .040 over, and now owned by a kid. So it's got to be the same car... It was tuned (I spent a good 10 hours or so on the dyno sorting it out), but the new owner installed a ported maf which screwed everything up. The factory maf went bad 2 weeks after I sold him the car and the fuel curve ended up being all over the place. It needs some minor tweaking after hearing how lean it's running now. A local shop raised the fuel pressure to get the A/F ratio back into check, but I'm sure doing that left some power on the table somewhere.. But should end up just over 400rwhp . It's mid 390's now... I think.

Bull **** that kid is full of ****!!!! The black formula with the STOCK CI motor that he got outran by Tuesday night when he broke his torque arm (that I told the little **** he did) belongs to a friend of mine, I was in the car when we outran that LT-1 car. If the kid won like he said, why did he pay us the $20.00 we were racing for??? And one more thing, they have the beating on tape, and you can clearly see the formula going around him, so he hits the brakes..... DONT TALK **** WHEN YOU CANT BACK IT UP, or bad things could happen to you!!!!!

Hey im the owner of the black formula. Sorry about my friend, he gets a lil excited. My car is a stock c.i. ls1 on a 100 shot. We raced twice, the first time i took him by a couple cars, the second time with hardly any bottle pressure, and being in & out of the throttle on the jump, i still came around him. Just wanted to make that clear, thats all.

I watched the race and video..
definately were not 2 or 3 cars...
I would give you half a car if memory serves correct of the pass with the camera man INSIDE the LT1 correct...

sorry well i was estimating, since i could see his lights through the back glass. I wasn't going to stick my head out the window and look back to see exactly. next time ill measure it for you exactly sir, would that do.. and i never said three...if i recall i said a couple as in TWO....so im not sure if you should trust your memory.
