Default Real WS6 Or Not

Hey, my girl friend and i went to check out a 98 LS1 t/a. It had a ws6 emblem on the back, it had "A" ram air hood, but i dont think it was a OEM peice i looked at it under it and it seemed like the 2 scoops on hood were functional, also it had what seemed like older corvette rims or older camaro wheels. it had some mean sounding exhaust i looked under ir and the muffler looked like what my old camaro had and that was a flowmaster 80 series. it had a after market airbox which looked like this one ( http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-A...t-no-36156.htm ).

Is there any way to find out if this is a true ws6? what gets me going is the hood is a ram air hood but its definately not a pontiac original. Let me know. THanks

look on the door and theres a sticker and it will say all the options including WS6 package. There is a list of what the codes are if you wanted to decipher all the options. Atleast i think that list is still up on this site.
