Default What Should 123mph 1/8 Traps Be Good For???

Alright all of the "faster" guys here, I've got a friend that trapped 123 in the 1/8 last time out with a bad clutch. I'm wondering what his 1/4 ET/MPH could/should look like??

Like I said, very bad clutch, so I wouldn't go completely by 60 & 1/8 ET, he only 60'd a 1.58 and ET'd a 6.3. But that's all off because of the clutch.

That MPH is bangin' though. What should/could he run/trap in the 1/4???

oh my god that's flyin!!! and it's a manual??? christ!

in an auto car that mph at the 1/8th is good for 8's... so i'd say low to mid 9's at somewhere around 150 mph. but i could be very wrong. someone else chime in. lol

123 is good for 8's, but a 6.3 is like a 9.5-9.7.

Well he had made some changes when he made that run, mainly meth/alky inj. Before the booz he had already trapped well over 150 in the 1/4, so....

It's actually a foxbody saleen coupe. It's got a '01 cobra motor (stock 'cept for forged internals) with a t76. Never been on a dyno as far as I know. The guy honest to god drives the car every day everywhere. In "around town" mode he still gets 24+mpg.

For the longest time he drove it on a true radial, wouldn't put a tire on it. It would run high10's/low11's spinning literally all the way down the track. He's finally added some ET street radials and the alky, but hasn't gotten a clean run in. I think he's hoping for some low low 9's @ around 160.
