Ive seen this on a couple of LS1 cars. Two fo them had blown heads gaskets. Because when we put them on the lift you could see the white on the block from seepage. Now my buddy has a 408 stroker with a 200 shot and it pukes out the overflow. Its due to high cylinder pressure. This is on a MLS gasket and ARP head studs. From the research I have done and from what I read on GM high tech about East side this is normal. What we did was add a sepreate over flow and check the coolant level after runs. And it is not alot of coolant. But it is enuff to know when you pop the hood and see a bit of coolant were the batt use to be.

You are not going to lift the heads with a 100 shot. You either have a bad head gasket, a crack in the heads or a crack on the block. Somehow it is bleed pressure into the coolant system. Thats what you need to figure out. Check the spark plugs to see if they are seeing coolant.

It is stock bottom end, precision race component heads stage 2.5, magic stick V3 cam, stock ls1 intake, the heads have just been on for 2000 miles, but it did it before i changed heads... ever since nitros has been on it. How do u know if the spark plugs are seeing coolant? it has new spark plugs put in about a month ago.
