Great Thread!

Seems the NX switch panel fits right in where the ashtray goes (any cutting needed?)?

I like Wolfs Pillar gauge set up too...

Currently in planning stages on a NDave plate system this winter

While looking at the various setups, seems to me better labeling is available...

If anyone has the CORVETTE font I can print some out in the CORVETTE font. How wide is each switch ? These labels are about 3/4" wide Font 14 size and Bold. Probably needs to be a 10 or a 12 on the font size (guessing).

Printed these up tonite on a Brady Sticker Machine. I can do any font if it is sent to me.

Cheers
Beer

If your looking for someone to try them out and post pics, I would would be willing. My label maker only does the basic as you can see. I would like/need;
3rd Stage
bottle heater
Nitrous power,
and a single 2nd Stage, and a Purge one size smaller.
Let me know?

What shifter is that in the pic? I had the B&M and it didn't feel solid at all, just made it hard to get into gear and still really loose. Is the hurst any better? I called them and they said it was because of the linkage and there was nothing that would make it stiff like the hurst was in my WS6.

Yes it's the Hurst, with their aftermarket oversized billard ball ****. No noise or vibration with this **** and shifter. Has two springs per side for adjusting to your likeness. I give it the thumbs up. Shifts like a hot knife through butter, no slop at all, and helped to get times in sig.
Here's another couple pics:

I need to know how wide the text can be for each switch and I will print a batch out. The machine is on my Drillship, and from time to time I need to train the new guys how to use it...I see a training opportunity in my future.

When I get home I can mail em out (next week).

The test batch when printed about 3/4" wide did not like the small size needed. If they can take a 1" wide text this what it will look like.

Any cutting required to put the NX switch in the ashtray slot?

Pm info. that's the reason I was a little creative in my wording, to keep letter count down. My labeler I could only go as small as you see, with letters.
Ideas;
N2O Arm
bottle heat
Bottle
n2o power
bottle arm
Main nitro
I like having a reference to nitrous on the main switch for those that are just looking, then they know, not wondering "oh that's for the amps". Heter and master seem to be your longest? just some food for thought.

Looks like the sample in the last pm will work, and I think they look better, imo (your original set-up). thanks

I have a Vette like Robert, but my switches are arm, bottle heater, purge, Bottle Opener.

If you want to send a set to me as well I will post pics. I was going to make some with my label printer, but they don't look near as nice as yours. I can probably use the same stickers as Robert will use, so just print another set.

The only difference is I haver a NX Remote Bottle Opener.

That could be BTL OPN, or somethign like that

if you want to send them to me I will PM you my Address.

Thanks

Gary Talac

If you don't want to mess with it, it will be no big deal at all.

Oh By the Way, in MY PICTURE ABOVE, the shop had my NX Panel in the wromg Way

They switched it so now the Arm with the Red Light is on the left side of the panel as you face the front of the NX Panel.

Just clarifying that. Mine was on wrong in that Picture.
