International Members - Overseas tracks where?

Any of you dudes know of any tracks whether its 1/4 or road course. Im on the island of Crete and I have heard of a track but I will need to verify what I have heard. Well if you guys know of any tracks post them up! Laters --Ryan

I dont know of one in Crete but i do know of one i have been to in Bahrain.

There's a guy in my task force that's stationed there. I'll ask him if he ever heard of one. He's not really a car guy though.

He just walked in. He said the only place he knows it the airport in Athens. The do 1/4 mile runs there, Sponsored ofcourse. As for the Island, he only knows of street racing. He said only ever saw like 3 US cars race. Just mostly VW, BMW, etc.

I heard imports were "big" on the island is that true? And if so are they at least fast?

Dunno??? A coworker and I went out looking for a race then found a few kids racing thier cars. We asked if they wanted to race they said no then parked thier cars and got out saying no race. I was like WTF. But a ot of Peugots Renaults stuff like that. SOme one told a me a 1K hp Honda was looking for me. I laughed I said ok. Same shit talking as the states. But I havent had a chance to race anyone worth racing yet. I take that back... In the summer time I raced a M3 which was really nice and I beat it. I thought that thing was going to hand me my ass but it didnt.

There wasnt a track in Bahrain when i was there in 99/00. They used to go towards the south central part of the island race about a mile. I went out there a few times with some LS1 guys. Wish i would have had my car while i was out there.

There were ZERO LS1 SS's or WS6's out there then, about a dozen LS1 Z28's, all A4's.

1/4's there is bitburg and a few otheres that I don't know.
for road courses I know of
nurburgring and hochenheim(sp) that will let you run
nurburgring is a wild experence and you really shouldn't go there looking to run as fast as you can. but if you do the adac truck is ready to pick you up.

they also do autocross's at bitburg.

There is a Drag strip on Guam.
