Default Help my 60'

I have been pulling between 1.78-1.82 60's spraying a 150 out of the hole, its not dead hooking but there is only minimal spin. The best ET I have managed is a 11.08@127.13 .I’m running a Vig 3,200stall, stock 3.23 gears & 27/11.5/15 Hoosier QTP's I know that combo doesn’t really help my 60' much but N/A I run 12.1@113 off mid 1.8 60's (slightly better traction but still not a dead hook, this was on a 26" et street). Why am I 60'ing the same N/A as with N20? Could the change from a 26" to a 27' tire be hurting me that much? Maybe im getting more spin then my spotters said. Is it time for a bigger stall and lower gears?

At the beginning of the season on 26" ET streets with less nitrous (NX100 that only gave 60 on the dyno, turned out to be a restriction in the feed line) I pulled a 1.63, 1.69, and low 1.7s best ET then was 11.56@115.5 on N20 (N/A pass that night was 12.18@111 I believe) and that was on Madman LCA's & an otherwise stock suspension, stock wheels. I now have Hals W/300# spring up front set at 2/2, Z28springs rear 1/2 coil cut & rubber buffer removed, boxed SFC's, air bag(20-25# depending on prep), bogarts slicks/skinnys & some weight reduction of the front end.

Are the 27" tires affecting my launch that much? I really didn’t want to put any money into my 10bolt, though I may just stick some 3.73's in it and see what happens. I bought the wheels used with the new 27's already on them, I might go back to 26". How much of a gear ratio drop is it going from a 26" to a 27" tire when you have 3.23's?

Borrow a wider set of slicks on a 9 or 10 inch rim. 127mph you shoud be in the 1.50 or lowere 60 fts and be running 10.50s. look in my sig what i run on, thats on a real slick, et drags on a 8.5 inch rim. my son car has gone mid 1.80s with stock tires on a z28 with stock converter and 3 mods.i had et streets on a 7.5 inch rim and was in the same ball park as you are now, then i made the change and was supprised.

When is the juice coming on at? doesnt sound like it is hitting right at the beginning of the run, OR you car getting way more tire spin than you are aware of...have you checked the tires spinning on the rim?
