Corvette Performance - Opinions on output shafts

I currently have an 02 ZO6 which is going to get a PTK turbo kit this winter. I will race the car often on dr's and some on slicks. It will also have a diff brace on it.

I know that the output shafts are a weak link in the suspension and I am considering changing them. The car will not make a ton of power off the line and I am not sure that I actually need them.

If I do have them changed, should I do both or just one?

If you have the diff open I would swap them both. My short shaft broke before the long one did. :eek2:
