Default lean or rich

can ping on top end 5000 rpm or so be caused by lean or rich condition
normaly rich from factory stock tune, was at 12.5 on dyno all
the way across the board. i changed timing doesnt seem to matter
every time it gets to 4200 or above, i get about three kr. can not
put this issue to sleep for some reason, pe to much or is it timing issue
im getting really sick of this issue.

May be real or may be false KR. If you take out 4
degrees and still have 3 of KR, probably false. You
can pick up false KR from things like valvetrain noise
and other mechanical goings-on.

You may want to play with the knock sensor filter
settings, desensitize them. Also may want to just
decrease attack rate and increase decay rate so it
is less jumpy and goes away sooner.
