You sure it's not a Torx?

yup. 8mm allen. the fitting is brass, and its probably corroded some around the threads since its holding back coolant. and since its never been taken out, and the car is a 99...its stuck pretty good. when it got to the point the allen wasnt working, we tried to use a torx but that didnt work either.
