Default What to do to prevent from engine losing oil do to wheelies?

Wheelies aren't new to LS1 F-bodies, so what has/is being done to prevent engine from losing oil while wheeling and toasting the engine? I certainly don't want this to happen to whatever I build next. Thanks in advance.

What's different about the Canton over the stock that prevents the engine from going dry?

Whoa, no need for name callin'. I have travel limiters in the front. I limited the travel by 2 inches. The pass after the bumper stand, I tighten the shocks from 0 to 3 and it help keep it down and I cut the best 60 ft., 1.36!!!

Instead of limiting the front-end travel by 2", you should have limited the travel to 2" total.

Just get a dry-sump. It's worth 30HP anyways.

Some places modify the oil pickup in the pan.

The internal configuration supposedly helps prevent acceleration starvation and starvation due to foaming...

Like Pro Stock John said.
You can have the oil pic up modified.

Another alternative is a pressurized auxiliary reservoir.

Either way you are looking at spending $$$. moding the pick up is proabaly the cheapiest fix.

Side note: do you have any pics of the wheel stand?

Does anyone know who modifies the stock pan or is this something that can be done at home? My father and I have pretty good fabrication skills, so I'm sure we can do it ourselves, but would need to know what needed to be done?

We finally got around to taking the motor out and completely tearing it apart. It wasn't bad at all and did it all within the day. Anyhow, oil starvation was the problem. So is modifying the stock pan a pretty common thing? If so, does anyone have pics? I'm tempted to buy the Canton oil pan, but is $500 and wanna be sure that I'm not wasting my money when I can modify my own and be safe.
