Wheelies aren't new to LS1 F-bodies, so what has/is being done to prevent engine from losing oil while wheeling and toasting the engine? I certainly don't want this to happen to whatever I build next. Thanks in advance.

Like Pro Stock John said.
You can have the oil pic up modified.
Another alternative is a pressurized auxiliary reservoir.

Either way you are looking at spending $$$. moding the pick up is proabaly the cheapiest fix.
Side note: do you have any pics of the wheel stand?

We finally got around to taking the motor out and completely tearing it apart. It wasn't bad at all and did it all within the day. Anyhow, oil starvation was the problem. So is modifying the stock pan a pretty common thing? If so, does anyone have pics? I'm tempted to buy the Canton oil pan, but is $500 and wanna be sure that I'm not wasting my money when I can modify my own and be safe.
